A woman healed physically from cancer treatment but racked with insistent and disturbing dreams attempts to deal with the practical pressures of daily life. Through aiding an abused student she embarks on an unexpected and unwished for journey that forces her to redefine what it means to be a woman and to find peace with her own mortality.
